4. License — Digital Products, Platform, and Tools
All Digital Product and Platform content — including Platform content, tools, dashboards, and interfaces — is the intellectual property of RummageRunner LLC. When you purchase or subscribe you receive a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use the content for your personal or internal business purposes only.
- Resell, sublicense, redistribute, or otherwise make available any content to third parties is prohibited.
- Scraping, automation, extraction, or mining of data from the Services is prohibited without express written consent.

- Policy abuse, fraud, or manipulation;
- Platform misuse that harms other users or our business;
- Any behavior we determine to be harmful to the Platform or RummageRunner LLC.

6. Payments, Billing & Chargebacks
By subscribing to any RummageRunner LLC SaaS Platform(s) and/or Digital Services, you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method. You authorize us to store and charge your payment method on a recurring basis in accordance with your subscription.
Subscription & Cancellation:
- Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.

- Suspension of access may occur if payment fails, is disputed, or is otherwise not received.
Chargeback Policy:
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us and attempting to resolve the issue constitutes a material breach of these Terms. If you file a chargeback, we reserve the right to:
- Immediately terminate your account and access;
- Revoke all licenses and access to Digital Products and the Platform;
- Pursue collection, damages, and legal remedies to recover fees, costs, and losses.
If you believe a charge or renewal is incorrect, contact support@rummagerunner.com promptly so we can resolve it before a dispute is filed.
7. Scope of Services
7.1 Physical Products — Descriptions, Condition, and Use
We strive to provide accurate descriptions, measurements, and high‑resolution photos for each physical item. Because inventory is vintage or pre‑owned, normal wear, patina, imperfections, and age‑related characteristics are expected and are not considered defects. Physical items are sold as collectible or decorative pieces and are not intended for modern functional use. If you have questions about an item, contact us before purchasing.
7.2 Digital Products — Access, License, and Restrictions
Digital/Virtual Products are delivered as account access through your RummageRunner account and are not provided as downloadable files unless explicitly stated. Digital/Virtual Products are licensed, not sold. All access is provided on a revocable, account‑based basis and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time.
License: On purchase you receive a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use the Digital Product for your personal or internal business purposes only.
Prohibited Uses: You may not share credentials; reproduce, resell, or redistribute content; publish content publicly; use content to train AI models; include content in commercial datasets; or create derivative works for sale.
No Scraping / No Automation: Automated querying, scraping, data mining, or extraction of content is prohibited without express written consent.
Reverse Engineering: Decompilation, disassembly, or reverse engineering of software or algorithms is prohibited.
Living Products & Updates: Digital Products are living, server‑side resources. We may update content at any time; we are not obligated to maintain prior versions.
Refunds: All Digital Product sales are final once access is granted, except where the product is materially non‑functional and we cannot resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe. Report access issues to support@rummagerunner.com within 30 days of purchase.
Termination of Access: We may suspend or revoke access for license violations without refund.
7.3 Platform (SaaS) — License, Use, and Data
License Grant: We grant a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for your personal or internal business use.
Prohibited Actions: You may not reverse engineer, scrape, harvest, or extract Platform data; use bots or automation without written permission; attempt unauthorized access; interfere with system integrity; or use the Platform for fraud, abuse, or illegal activity. You agree not to circumvent, bypass, or attempt to replicate the Service, including its data, structure, or functionality, for commercial purposes.
Acceptable Use: You must not send spam, distribute malware, violate IP or privacy rights, or engage in deceptive practices. We may remove content, suspend accounts, or report violations at our discretion.
Data Ownership & Processing: You retain ownership of your uploaded data. You grant RummageRunner LLC a limited license to process your data solely to provide and improve the Platform. We will not sell your content; we may share data with subprocessors as described in Section 12.
Data Loss & Backups: We implement reasonable safeguards but are not responsible for data loss, corruption, or unauthorized access beyond our reasonable control. Maintain backups of critical data.
7.4 RummageMate OS™ — Forensic Evidence Generation
RummageMate OS™ is a forensic seller protection operating system that generates cryptographically sealed evidence records (“Notary Records”) for marketplace transactions. This section governs your use of RummageMate OS™ specifically.
7.4.1 Nature of the Service
RummageMate OS™ is a forensic evidence generation and documentation tool. It produces:
- SHA‑256 cryptographic hashes of item photographs, weight logs, and environmental integrity data;
- Chain‑of‑custody records (“Notary Records”) that link a specific item’s condition, weight, and environmental status to a unique Notary ID;
- Dispute response materials, evidence bundles, and formal notices of policy violation (“Evidence Materials”);
- Optionally, blockchain‑anchored timestamps that embed a Notary Record’s chain hash into a public blockchain for independent, third‑party timestamp verification.
7.4.2 Notary Records — Legal Status
RummageMate Notary Records are commercial timestamped evidence records generated by automated software. They are:
- NOT a legal notarization under any state’s notary public laws;
- NOT a guarantee of any dispute outcome;
- NOT legal advice, legal representation, or a legal opinion;
- PROVIDED as a tool to assist sellers in documenting the facts of their transactions, which may be submitted to marketplaces, payment processors, banks, or other third parties at the seller’s sole discretion and risk.
The acceptance, weight, and admissibility of any Notary Record or Evidence Material in any dispute, chargeback, arbitration, or legal proceeding is solely at the discretion of the reviewing platform, financial institution, arbitrator, or court. RummageRunner LLC makes no representation or warranty that any Notary Record will be accepted or will result in a favorable outcome.
7.4.3 Blockchain Anchoring
When enabled, RummageMate OS™ may embed a cryptographic hash of a Notary Record into a public blockchain via a separate, hardened signing service. The blockchain anchor:
- Serves as an independent, third‑party timestamp verification that the hash existed at a specific point in time;
- Is provided for additional evidentiary support at the seller’s option;
- Does not constitute a legal notarization, certification, or guarantee;
- May involve third‑party blockchain networks over which RummageRunner LLC has no control, and RummageRunner LLC is not liable for blockchain network congestion, failures, forks, or transaction delays.
7.4.4 Seller’s Responsibility
You acknowledge and agree that:
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all data you input into RummageMate OS™, including item descriptions, photographs, weights, condition statements, and environmental certifications.
- You are solely responsible for ensuring that your marketplace listings, transactions, and business practices comply with the terms, policies, and selling requirements of each respective marketplace.
- RummageMate OS™ does not replace your own diligence, judgment, or professional advice. You should independently verify all AI‑generated content, including item identifications, authenticity assessments, pricing suggestions, and dispute materials.
- RummageMate OS™ is not a substitute for legal counsel. For legal disputes, you should consult a licensed attorney.
7.4.5 Limitation on Evidence Guarantees
RummageRunner LLC does not guarantee that:
- Any Notary Record will be accepted by any marketplace, payment processor, bank, arbitrator, or court;
- Any dispute, chargeback, or claim will be resolved in your favor;
- Any Evidence Material will result in the removal of negative feedback, reversal of a chargeback, or any other specific outcome;
- The Platform will prevent fraud, scams, or buyer misconduct.
7.4.6 Data Retention and Deletion
Notary Records are retained for 180 days from the date of generation (“Vault Retention Period”), after which they are automatically purged. Blockchain anchors are permanent and cannot be deleted once confirmed. It is your responsibility to download and retain copies of any Notary Records or Evidence Materials you wish to keep beyond the Vault Retention Period.
8. Accounts & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts for suspicious activity, non‑payment, or violations of these Terms. We may suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate access to any account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, and without liability.
9. Shipping & Delivery (Physical Products)
Orders placed before 11:00 AM EST on a business day generally ship the same business day; otherwise they ship the next business day. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, physical items ship with tracking and insurance. Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or customs. International buyers are responsible for customs duties and import fees.
10. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
10.1 Physical Products — Returns
Because items are vintage and one‑of‑a‑kind, we do not accept returns for buyer’s remorse. We offer a 30‑day return window only if an item arrives damaged in transit or is materially different from the listing. To initiate a return, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. Return shipping instructions and liability will be provided for approved returns.
10.2 Digital Products
All Digital Product sales are final once access is granted, except as set out in Section 7.2.
10.3 SaaS Subscriptions
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds are provided. We may suspend or terminate access for non‑payment or violations.
10.4 Order Cancellations
Physical orders may be canceled before shipment. Once handed to the carrier, orders cannot be canceled. Digital orders cannot be canceled once access is granted.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on our sites and Services — text, images, logos, graphics, product descriptions, Digital Product content, prompt text, organizational structures, example outputs, interface design, source code, algorithms, and forensic documentation structures — is owned by RummageRunner LLC and protected by U.S. and international copyright law. This includes, without limitation:
- The RummageMate OS™ name, brand, and logo;
- The Notary Record structure and format (NTR‑YYYYMMDD‑NNN);
- The Letter of Marque format and content;
- The forensic chain‑of‑custody documentation methodology;
- All original software code, including the PHP plugin, frontend application, blockchain anchor microservice, and related components.
Purchase grants only the limited license described above. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works, or use content for AI training without express written permission. We actively monitor and enforce our IP rights. For licensing inquiries, contact support@rummagerunner.com.
12. Data Protection & Processing (DPA Integrated)
12.1 Roles
You are the Data Controller; RummageRunner LLC is the Data Processor for data processed via the Platform.
12.2 Processing Scope
We process personal data only to provide and improve the Services, and as otherwise instructed by you.
12.3 Security Measures
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the risk. This includes, for blockchain anchoring services, the use of a separate, hardened signing environment with independent key custody.
12.4 Subprocessors
We may engage subprocessors (hosting, payment processors, analytics, blockchain networks). We require subprocessors to maintain adequate protections.
12.5 Data Subject Rights
We will assist with access, deletion, correction, and portability requests to the extent required by law.
12.6 Data Breach
We will notify you of confirmed data breaches affecting your data within a reasonable timeframe.
12.7 Data Retention & Deletion
We retain data as necessary to provide Services, comply with law, and resolve disputes. After account termination, data may be deleted following a reasonable retention period unless legal obligations require otherwise. Notary Records are subject to the 180‑day Vault Retention Period described in Section 7.4.6.
13. Disclaimers

All Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement.
13.2 Physical Products
Vintage items may display age‑appropriate wear; descriptions and photos are provided to the best of our ability.
13.3 Digital Products & Platform
We do not guarantee accuracy of outputs, prevention of disputes, Platform uptime, or any specific results. Marketplace policies change frequently; you are responsible for ensuring your marketplace listings comply with current platform rules.
13.4 No Reliance — RummageMate OS™
You acknowledge that any information, outputs, or results provided by RummageMate OS™ — including but not limited to item identifications, authenticity assessments, condition grades, pricing suggestions, verdicts (FIND/DEATHPILE), dispute response materials, and Evidence Materials — are generated by automated software and artificial intelligence for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for your decisions, actions, and outcomes. RummageMate OS™ does not replace human judgment, professional appraisal, or legal advice.
13.5 No Guarantee of Dispute Outcomes
RummageRunner LLC makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee that use of RummageMate OS™ will:
- Prevent any dispute, chargeback, claim, or return;
- Result in a favorable outcome in any dispute, chargeback, arbitration, or legal proceeding;
- Cause any marketplace, payment processor, or financial institution to accept any Notary Record or Evidence Material;
- Result in the removal of any negative feedback or rating;

16.2 Procedures
Arbitration will be before a single neutral arbitrator under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) or another mutually agreed service. The arbitrator may decide all issues, including the scope and enforceability of this clause. Each party bears its own attorneys’ fees unless the arbitrator orders otherwise.
16.3 Waiver of Jury Trial & Class Actions
By agreeing to arbitration you waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in class or representative actions.

If a Force Majeure event occurs, we will use reasonable efforts to resume performance as soon as practicable. Where a Force Majeure event continues for an extended period, either party may terminate the affected Services without liability for that termination, subject to any refund or billing adjustments required by law.
20. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Services at any time for violations of these Terms, fraud, non‑payment, or security concerns. You may cancel subscriptions at any time; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred prior to termination.
