Our Mission
Growing out of a hobby since the 1990s, RummageRunner LLC became an official business in New Jersey in 2024. RummageRunner was born out of a passion for the “thrill of the hunt.” Today, we source vintage and antique pieces from estate sales, auctions, and private collections, and each listing states what we know about an item and what we could not confirm.
RummageRunner is a curated online shop based in the historic village of Mauricetown, NJ along the “National Wild and Scenic” Maurice River, focused on vintage and antique collectibles. We carry pottery, porcelain and glass, toys and diecast, dolls and figurines, political and casino memorabilia, advertising pieces, vintage fashion and accessories, books and ephemera, and home decor. Every physical item is inspected, photographed, and listed with a condition report that names flaws and where they are. We hold all our own inventory and ship directly from our Mauricetown, NJ location.
We bring thoughtfully selected antiques and vintage items back into everyday life by focusing on condition, sourcing, and clear descriptions. Our goal is to connect passionate collectors and design lovers with meaningful pieces that add character and history to modern homes.
Our Commitment to Accuracy
RummageRunner LLC is a family-owned and operated business based in the historic village of Mauricetown, New Jersey. We are not a “ghost” drop-shipper. We personally source, inspect, and house all our inventory right here at our home office. Every item you see on our site is in stock and ready to ship.
How We Source our Products
- Estate and auction sourcing along with private collections, mostly in the Mid-Atlantic region.
- Direct acquisitions from collectors and local sellers.
- In-house inspection of every item, each photographed before it is listed.
Because many vintage and antique pieces come from varied sources, each listing shares what we know about an item’s age, condition, and background. When a maker, date, or material cannot be confirmed, the listing says so.
Shop with Confidence
Transparent listings with condition reports that name flaws, plus measurements where recorded.
Customer‑friendly policies: if an item arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and keep all packaging; shipping damage is handled through a carrier insurance claim. If an item is materially different from its photos and description, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos and an explanation; once approved, ship it back within 48 hours after we email our prepaid return label, for a refund to your original payment method. No restocking fee. See our Return & Refund Policy.
