Description
Bad photos kill good listings
Buyers decide in seconds, and a dark, cluttered, crooked photo makes even a great item look like a gamble. Photo Fixer turns a quick phone photo into a clean, professional listing image in seconds — no Photoshop, no app to learn, no waiting.
Easy as 1-2-3 — no design app to learn
Other photo tools make you sign up, learn a design app, pick a template, choose export settings, and re-upload your photo to their servers — 10 steps before you get a usable image. Photo Fixer is 3 taps, on your phone, with nothing to learn:
1. Upload — choose a photo from your phone or computer.
2. Fix — one tap does it all: white background, auto-crop, brighten, resize to 1600px on the longest side — eBay’s recommended size.
3. Download — get your HD, watermark-free JPG and upload it straight to your listing.
No account needed to try it, no templates, no export settings, no photo uploads to a server. If you can upload a photo to eBay, you can use Photo Fixer.
HD, no watermark — eBay-compliant
Your download is a clean, high-definition JPG up to 1600px on the longest side — eBay’s recommended size — with no watermark, no text, no logo, and no border. eBay does not allow watermarks, logos, or text overlays on listing photos, and watermarked photos can hurt search placement. The watermark you see in demo mode is only on the preview, so you can see the result before you buy — it is never on a purchased download, and it should never be uploaded to eBay.
Built for eBay specs
eBay wants at least 500px on the longest side and recommends 1600px. Photo Fixer outputs up to 1600px, in JPG format, ready to upload. The same cleaned photo also works great on Etsy, Poshmark, Facebook Marketplace, and Mercari.
Fix once, list everywhere — built for cross-listers
If you cross-list the same item on eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Facebook Marketplace, Depop, or Etsy, you do not need a different photo for each platform. Fix it once with Photo Fixer and use the same clean, HD, watermark-free JPG everywhere. One download, one consistent look across every listing — no re-shooting, no re-editing the same item five times, and no platform-specific app to learn. Photo Fixer does not post to those platforms for you; it gives you the clean photo file to upload wherever you list. It is great for online marketplace beginners: no design experience, no app to learn, and no jargon — if you can upload a photo, you can use it.
Agreement — please read before you buy
By purchasing and using Photo Fixer, you agree to the Best Photo checklist above. You understand that white background and auto-crop may be skipped if your photo is dark, busy, or has no uniform background, and that each download uses 1 fix even if your original photo limits the result. You must agree to this checklist in the tool itself before your first fix, and that agreement is recorded on your account. If Photo Fixer itself fails to produce any output at all (a technical error, not a photo-quality limit), contact support for a fix credit.
Pay as you go — the cheapest way to fix a full listing
$9 for up to 25 photos, one time, no monthly bill, and your fixes do not expire. That is $0.36 per photo — cheaper in total than a $10–$15/month subscription if you only need to fix a listing or two. When your pack runs out, buy another $9 pack to top up by 25 more. A monthly subscription option is coming soon.
Your photos stay private
Photo Fixer processes your photo in your own browser. It is never uploaded to our server, never stored, and never seen by anyone else. That also means it works fast, even on a phone.
Try it before you buy
Everyone can try Photo Fixer in demo mode: upload a photo, preview the fixed version, and see exactly what you get. Full downloads are unlocked with purchase.
What photo works best — read this first
Photo Fixer will brighten and resize almost any photo, but white background and auto-crop only work when the tool can clearly tell the item apart from its background. To get the full result — not a “skipped” message — use a photo like this:
Background: light, plain, and solid — white, light gray, or beige, with no pattern, texture, or clutter. All four corners of the photo should be the same color.
Lighting: bright and even, with no dark corners or harsh shadows. Natural daylight, or a light on each side, works best.
One item only: one product, centered, with no other objects in the shot — no pens, papers, money, or other items competing for attention.
Margin around the item: the item should fill most of the frame, but leave a plain-background border all around it (about 10% on each side). If the item touches the edges or fills the whole frame, there is nothing to crop and no background to turn white.
Size: at least 1600px on the longest side if you can — that is eBay’s recommended size, and it is what Photo Fixer outputs. At minimum, 500px (eBay’s minimum). A phone camera at full resolution is perfect; a small screenshot will not get sharper.
Format and focus: JPG or PNG, in focus, with the item sharp. A blurry photo stays blurry after fixing.
Photos that will trigger a “skipped” message — and why that is protection, not failure: a dark background (white background is skipped on purpose, so forcing white does not eat a dark subject), a busy or patterned background (auto-crop is skipped, so it does not cut into the item), a flat document or multi-item flat lay (the tool cannot tell which object is the product), or a subject that fills the whole frame (there is no background border to trim). In those cases Photo Fixer still brightens and resizes your photo — it just will not pretend to do a white background it cannot do safely.
What it does — and what it doesn’t
Photo Fixer works best on photos taken on a light, plain background, in focus, with the item filling the frame but with a margin around it. It will not magically turn a busy, dark, or blurry photo into a studio shot, and it will tell you so instead of pretending. For best results, photograph on a light background if you can.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to install anything?
No. Photo Fixer runs in your browser on the Photo Fixer page. Nothing to download, nothing to learn.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Upload straight from your phone’s camera roll, fix, download, and list.
How many photos can I fix?
25 photos per $9 pay-as-you-go pack. Each download uses 1 fix, and previewing is free. eBay allows up to 24 photos per listing, so 25 fixes covers one complete listing, plus one extra. When your pack runs out, buy another $9 pack to top up by 25 more. Your fixes do not expire. Want to try again? You can re-fix the original photo and preview it as many times as you like for free — a fix is only counted when you download. If you download a photo and later want a different version, just re-fix the original and download again — that second download uses another fix from your pack.
Are the downloads really HD with no watermark?
Yes. Purchased downloads are clean JPGs up to 1600px, with no watermark, text, logo, or border — exactly what eBay wants. Only the free demo preview carries a watermark, so you can see the result before you buy.
Is there a subscription?
Not yet. Photo Fixer launches as pay-as-you-go only: $9 for 25 fixed photos, no monthly bill. A subscription option is coming soon.
I cross-list on eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, and Facebook Marketplace — does this help?
Yes — that is exactly who the clean JPG is for. Fix the photo once and use the same HD, watermark-free image on eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Facebook Marketplace, Depop, and Etsy, instead of re-shooting or re-editing the same item for each platform. It is sized and formatted for eBay first (up to 1600px, JPG), and it works anywhere you list. Photo Fixer does not post to those platforms for you; it gives you the photo file to upload wherever you list.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. Processing happens in your browser. Your photo never leaves your device.
Why did it say “Auto-crop skipped” or “White background skipped”?
That is Photo Fixer protecting your photo, not failing. Auto-crop skips when the background is not uniform enough to trim safely, and white background skips when the background is dark — forcing white in either case would damage the item. Re-shoot on a light, plain background, with one item centered and a plain border around it, and both steps should run. Brighten and resize still run even when those two steps skip.
Pair it with the rest of your listing toolkit
Great photos get the click — great copy closes the sale. Pair Photo Fixer with the eBay INAD Defense Kit for listing copy that helps avoid returns, and the Listing Launcher for proven selling templates.
