About the Auld Lang Syne Lettering
The top of the teapot is hand-painted with “Let’s have a cup of Kindness – For Auld Lang Syne,” a line from the song sung on New Year’s Eve. The underside dedication reads as a birthday greeting to Ann from Iney, so the New Year’s association comes from the lyric.
